F.A.Q.

General Questions

Whether your child needs to take a nap often depends on their age, individual needs, and the daily routine. In our younger classes, which range from 4 months to 4 years, children typically have a nap after lunch. Many younger children benefit from these naps, as they can help improve mood, focus, and overall development.
As children transition into our turning 5 class, naps are gradually weaned off to prepare them for the demands of a more structured schedule. By the time they reach Grade R, most children no longer require a nap, as their stamina and attention span have developed. This gradual approach allows children to adjust comfortably while ensuring they are well-rested and ready for learning activities.
If you have any specific concerns about your child’s napping needs, please feel free to discuss them with us!

We maintain an appropriate staff to child ratio to ensure that each child receives individual attention and care. This varies by age group, but we always prioritize a nurturing environment with approx 2 adults per class. Our classes are small with a max of 16 children per class to ensure they enjoy the large space, individual attention, love and care we provide.
